My Favorite Past Times, Starring Social Media

You know, sometimes I think I should start a Youtube channel for art tutorials and such, but I don't really get time to. You'd probably think someone would be excited to start an account... but isn't it just hard work? I would probably start one in the summer. For now, I do have an Instagram in which I post my art on, (which you should go follow :D ). I'm pretty happy with it, I started late September, and have about 350+ followers on it. I post almost every day, although I really haven't had time to recently. I really want to get a lot of followers so that I can get noticed by some of the huge art accounts. The art I post isn't my professionalism, its more of my cartoonish manga style of drawing and I feel like it suites my Instagram better. My only issue is that from the start of my Instagram account, I've been trying to develop a style of drawing and haven't exactly established that yet. You see, good art Instagram accounts have a general style that the illustrator uses, that tends to attract more people, and gives an honest vibe because some people tend to steal art and trace and take other people's hard work.
I also want to start a Youtube account animating my life stories like JaidenAnimations, or TheOddOnesOut, or even ItsAlexClark. Its always fun to watch funny stories animated by other people, especially in different styles. I can really see that more art accounts are popping up everywhere, so competition is getting higher. I could really use the followers and popularity for when applying in college, especially if I apply to an art university like CalArts which was originally founded by Walt Disney himself. Anyways, that's my favorite past time, all the art I make is usually posted on my Instagram which is @wooferz.senpai if you'd like to see any of my work. Byeee!

Gun safety and what YOU can do about it

Gun safety is an important matter to discuss, and it is also very important to think of the small solutions that can make a difference. A solution I believe should come to the surface is to stop the use of guns for people without a proper license. It will never come to the point when it will be unanimous that people want to completely eliminate the use of guns all in all, but our best shot is to have licensed people working with them. People should have to pass tests and various exams to be able to have or purchase a gun. Stores should have to ask a person for a license on carrying such a catastrophic weapon. There should be a proper background check process in place for people applying to get a license to use a gun. People like police officers that have the proper training to use a gun should be in charge, or professionals that have expertly handled guns should be ones to judge who gets a license. People should be arrested for not having a license for a gun and using it, they must have proper uses for them as well. Together we can find a way through the dark stormy clouds and make a path to the walk of success and solutions.

What can we do, "To get our government to do something about gun violence?" Our former president Obama had once said after the 2015 shooting in Oregan. Instead of thinking of simple solutions such as, "to give teachers a gun to protect the students," we should think of more complicated and foolproof solutions. Answers such as getting the government to notice how bad our country is doing, and how many people are lost every year. We already have plenty of problems Global warming, floods, earthquakes, etc, we don't need more on our plate. America needs to open its eyes and understand that guns are not a good thing. People are misusing their rights of having guns and I believe there should be a stop to it. Former President Barack Obama had an influential perspective that people didn't take action but now it isn't too late to come back to that idea because now its time to act. If we didn't at right now there won't be anything we can do about this problems, so the best thing we can do is fight back with our words. We can show them that guns and violence aren't the way, we can definitely make a difference.

Dearest Congressmen and women,
It has come to my concern that gun safety is getting quite out of hand. We need to take it into consideration to start to stop the productions and selling of guns. It should be illegal to have a gun in your home without having the use of it, or without properly knowing how to use the weapon. Such a tool shouldn't be played in the hands of people not mature responsible enough to deal with its consequences and what the potential of the weapon is. I have some ideas on what actions to take but I cannot do much alone. The country needs the Congress to be strong and protective and they must make proper actions to save our nation. I believe an action we can take is to hold a license for having a gun. People must be a certain age, have no mental diseases or illnesses, and must pass a series of tests and processes in order to get a hold of a gun license. They must also have series of background checks done and experts must check them before they qualify to have a gun. Maybe if we have stricter rules, our world can be a better place...

Back In Time

It was a small room crammed with three seventeen-year-olds. It smelled like damp rain on a foggy morning. The pancakes on the stove that Ruby started to make before were still cold from when they were first taken out of the freezer, they were the frozen ones because neither of them had time to make pancakes on their own. The gray walls in the room matched the clouds outside perfectly. The rain just seemed to pour harder when Ruby looked out the window. The dreaded gray clouds circled around the small brick apartment where Ruby lived with the two orphans, Skye and Allie. They all have been friends for quite some time now when Ruby’s parents adopted Skye and Allie to raise there were almost siblings. Everything looked so dull and gray today, everyone’s faces looked blank as if there was nothing to say… just an ordinary, dull Sunday morning.

All three sighed in exhaustion at the same time when Skye finally got up and walked out of the small room. In his room, which nobody was allowed to go to lay a small watch. a small smile lit his up his face which was very rare. It was the last thing his father had given him before he passed away. An unplanned breeze was blown through the room, his light blue hair was swept the other way and he looked up. None of the windows were open… He looked back at the watch and started to walk out of the room with it to tell Ruby and Allie about the weird breeze when a very loud whirring sound was heard from the watch. In such a surprise, Skye threw up the watch and it fell to the ground still making an odd machine sound. Before either of them could even manage to stammer a word, all of them were pulled into the watch.
“Oh god.” Skye said finally getting up. He looked around only to see both Ruby and Allie sprawled on the ground right next to him. It smelled like pine trees and nature Allie started stirring awake. They seemed to be in some woods, the sky was a light blue color and it wasn’t raining.
“Where are we?” Allie asked, she seemed to be half conscious and half asleep.
“I- I don’t know…?” Skye questioned as well. Ruby finally started to awake and suddenly stood up straight.
“Hey! Wha- Where?” She started to stammer. Both Allie and Skye shrugged at her and all of them started looking around. Where were they at this point? What had happened to them? Was it the watch that had taken them to this odd place?
“Whoa! Are we in Narnia!?” Allie silently muttered to herself. Skye gave her a look as if to say shut up with the stupid suggestions. She mimicked the same look back at him and he rolled his eyes. Suddenly, a sound of hooves was heard almost shaking the ground.
“You there! You Rebels! Put thee hands up or you’re getting it!” A deep voice bellowed. All three of them put their hands up and slowly turned around and meet the hard, cold blue eyes of a royal general. Eventually, they all found themselves behind bars in the dungeons.
“This, this is all your fault Skye!” Ruby yelled pointing a menacing finger dangerously close to his face. His eyebrows furrowed together as if he was thinking, he didn’t dare argue back because Ruby was a little short tempered. While Skye was thinking, Allie was in the verge of crying, she was overly sensitive due to many things like her parents passing away. During the next day, there was a rattle on the cells. When they looked up they saw a young man, his face seemed to be chiseled out of stone, so beautiful like something out of a history book. He had raven black hair, untamed dark brown eyes which seemed to roam each of their faces. He had a rather smug look on his face when he spoke directly to Skye. “You are in charge of these damsels sir? I would rather have it that this lovely ladies wouldn't be in a dirty place like this.”
“Hey! Who are you calling a damsel!” Ruby protested.

“You.” He replied a smile playing his lips. Ruby growled and was about to say something but then Skye spoke.
“Sir I would have it any other way but this is a misunderstanding,” Skye spoke.
“How so,” Axel questioned.
“What year is it, may I ask.” Skye wondered.
“The 481 AD of course,” Axel stated. Ruby’s eyes opened up in shock, Allie stared at Axel intensely. Only Skye wasn’t shaken and started to tell Axel where they were from. At last, Axel thought for a moment and finally said, “You know what, I’ll strike a deal with you. I will take you to the wizard in one condition.” He was looking directly at Ruby. “I want a kiss from her.” He said pointing at Ruby.
“Excuse me!” Ruby screamed. “Skye! You can’t possibly say yes to that!” she screeched.
“Ruby it's our only way out! You’re gonna have to agree!” Allie said frantically.
“Yeah shortie, listen to your friend,” Axel said smirking. Ruby growled at him. Skye’s expression was very hard to read as always, but his eyes seemed to ask Ruby pleadingly to do it.
“FINE! You guys owe me so bad!” Ruby shrieked. Axel grinned at her and pulled out some keys from his pockets. After a short ride in a horse carriage they had arrived at the warlock’s lair. The warlock agreed to take them back in time and heard out their entire story.
“Its seems to be that you all are far from home.” He spoke in a rather heavy undetectable accent. “Prince Axel, where did you find these time travelers?”
“The dungeons, they were captured.” Axel replied. The warlock thought for some time before deciding on what he wanted.
“I will let you home as long as the blue haired one stays with me. If his father was a spell caster and from the future, he will do me great good.” The wizard finally said.
“What! What is with all these deals everyone makes these days!” Ruby scowled. Axel shrugged at her and pulled out his sword. The tip of it was threateningly close to the wizard’s neck.
“Can I get a good luck kiss shortie?” He said grinning at Ruby. She looked the other way huffing at his exasperating personality. While Axel knocked out the wizard, Skye went through all the spell books to find the right one to take them back to the future. At last, the warlock was knocked unconscious, and Skye had found the spell ready to cast it.
“Now we part ways, so my end of the deal now?” Axel beamed. Before Axel could start to notice, Skye started muttering the spell and casting it with the wand.
“Sure.” Ruby chirped. She blew a kiss at him and before he could say anything, they were already gone. This time Ruby didn’t stumble, but she smiled at the small room, where the gray walls and gray sky brought everybody's mood down. Where it was raining so hard you could hear it on the roof. Where Allie, Skye and her all lived together happily. Home.

The Legend of Sleepy Hollow - Alternate Ending

The darkness seemed to deepen and the sky turned an even darker shade of gray. The darkness seemed to swallow up the moon today, there was no light in the sky. The grass was somewhat wet and I heard hooves just behind mine. Just then, my owner, Ichabod was launched off me because of the flying object which pushed him off. I secretly neighed in joy and trotted forward. As soon as I was a short distance away from the fallen Ichabod, I watched my to be stallion sniff him and his owner pull Ichabod away. The owner of my to be stallion whose name was Headdie, dragged Ichabod by his arms and pulled him away somewhere. I trotted towards my to-be stallion, he was a great steed and I really did love him. My previous owner thought I was male and made me work so much! My new owner would let me and my stallion live together and feed us well. I nuzzled my new mate and he neighed in triumph.
Shortly after, Headdie came back and lead us both to a small cottage where he lived. It was a short brick home, comfy from the rather small looking chimney. My mate's name was Pitch, and even though I was named Gunpowder, I told my mate my name was Caramel because I never really liked that name.
"Now now, Pitch and you, Caramel?" Headdie asked. I whinnied in agreement. "Okay, you two ponies can go have some free time to run, just make sure Pitch comes back home before sunrise because he might fade in the light." Headdie said patting Pitch. We both agreed and ran out to the dark open meadows. The color of the grass seemed to be lighter since I was now I was free. Alas, the sky seemed to lighten too and Pitch started panicking. I calmed him down and told him to run back home, he understood and wailed a goodbye. I watched him gallop back until he was a small speck in the horizon. Then I galloped back home like nothing happened and by the time the annoying school kids came around, I was just grazing on some grass and they seemed to buy my act.
It was the next morning by then, where they found me without a saddle or my owner and seemed to question me. Obviously, I played dumb and they let me be. Even when my owner was gone they still called me Gunpowder and called me a male. This angered me and I ran away, I went to the small cottage to see if Headdie and Pitch were there. They weren't there but I stayed in the cottage and fell asleep. When I awoke I was on some damp grass and it smelled like something good, like sugar. I was immediately very hungry and when I got up I realized it was night and Pitch and Headdie were back in the cottage. To my delight, Headdie was there and had sugar in his hands. The rest of the night was great, I was with Pitch and Headdie looking at the stars, eating sugar cubes, and just relaxing and not working. The grass looked a little greener, and I felt more like a happier and younger horse. This was how I wanted the rest of my life to be, with Pitch and Headie, no Ichabad, no work.
